Setting Limits at Playtime Casino Hanover

  • OLG's My PlayBreak lets a person shut themselves out of all Ontario casinos for a term between 1 and 5 years, or for just 3 or 6 months. Once started, a break cannot be ended early. Sign-up is handled by casino staff, a PlaySmart Centre or the OLG Support Centre, reachable at 1-800-387-0098.
  • Run by iGaming Ontario, BetGuard (betguard.ca) locks a person out of each online gambling site that Ontario regulates, OLG.ca too. A person may set a length of their own or pick a fixed term: 5 years, 6 months or 1 year. Land-based casinos are not covered.
  • OLG runs PlaySmart, a responsible gambling site found at playsmart.ca.

Before the car leaves Walkerton, Kincardine or Toronto, settle how much of the weekend budget, if any, goes to play. Pick the hour you head home as well. Write both down if that helps. Then keep to them, even on a Friday when the floor runs past midnight.

That picture was made from a real photograph published by the raceway, at its own hour and in its own light. The other seven show no real spot: country roads and fields, a small-town street, a picnic table by a river, a plain studio backdrop. None was taken at Playtime Casino Hanover or Hanover Raceway, and the track, roads, farmhouse and town street are not the real places.

On October 9, 2026, the facts were checked against the casino's pages, Hanover Raceway's pages, OLG's list of casinos and Ontario government and agency pages. Archived copies made in March 2026 covered any gap where the casino's live site could not be reached. All times are in Eastern time.
